what if rouxls was a cuphead miniboss?

i said, four months ago before promptly forgetting this drawing.

anywho here’s my idea for his battle, concept art somewhere under the rambling

his fight is called something along the lines of “a royal rumble/rouxls and regulations/rouxls were made to be broken” (im indecisive)

he’s a miniboss you can obtain by shooting a rule card that king dice drops, and if you go back to his fight after you beat it, the option to play rouxls’ will pop up

it literally happens right under dice’s table

his theme is a silly big band mashup of hip shop, checker dance, rouxls kaard, and it’s pronounced rules

his parry items are worms, yes it gives you a life but he highly inconveniences you by randomizing your weapon and super

my hc is that he’s made from the ink on a rules card, so as the battle goes on he gets progressively more goopy (like ink heating up in a pen :3)

first phase (pictured) second phase (ripoff of his mansion acid tunnel fight) third phase (lancer teams up with him and will shoot projectiles from his bike)

between the second and third phase there is a break where he declares “hange on a momente the boye wants maceth and cheese” during which you are completely free to hit him while he cooks but he just asks you politely to stopeth

when lancer joins him, the whole “joined the party” fanfare plays with the textbox completely ripped from deltarune

also everytime you die the explosion gif plays

Halloween is just a month away.

And since I'm usually late with stuff I want to do for holidays, why not start getting my spooky on now?

I teased at this guy before and now here he is in all his glory: Everyone, meet Ichabod Crowley! Master of Crows and King of the Cornfield! I can't reveal too much about him because spoilers, but I can tell you this: He's an old Autumnal Spirit who once had the Isles under his thumb and isn't happy about being forgotten!

Guess what fellas??? It’s time for a new crossover!

Someone on a discord server brought up the idea of four as a cuphead boss.. and .. yeah!! I also didn’t have my tablet pen when I was doing animation so it’s pretty wonky. 

So, stage 1 of the battle, he’d be pretty tame, he’ll do the Expland Arm Thing, and do Cake at Stake, where he throws cake at you. Some are parryable!

Stage 2 is able to all of the things stage 1 can do, and a couple of other things, like screeching and small lasers! I imagine he can also do a thing where he screeches and you can’t move for a few seconds. So, the two animations are for stage 2!

Stage 3 can do all of the above, with some upgrades to the screech being more spread out and bigger lasers! He can also do.. Algebra Time, so there’s a whole buncha numbers n stuff and he shoots em at you.

Pretty basic, but this was fun to make! I don’t plan on explanding this too much bc it’s just a fun lil idea I had.

Fight Summary (Wilting Vexation)

Boss: Rossette Lavender Carnation

Intro:

Rossette will look at the players innocently. Then turns around to reveal her true form, thus beginning the battle

Phase 1:

“I’m sorry for your loss but don’t worry I’ll bring ya some flowers!” -Rossette Lavender Carnation

Rossette can use three of her attacks:

Eyeball Toss: Rossette will throw two eyeballs at the players. In Expert mode, she throws three eyeballs

Rosie Posey: Rossette will summon two flowers from the ground and they attack you by throwing seeds at you. She does not use this attack in Simple mode.

Spring Time: Rossette will throw a seed a the player, if the player gets hit, the seed will disappear. However, if the attack misses, then it will become a small flower that can damage the players if they run into it.

Once enough damage was pulled. Rossette will groan in anger then turns into her final form thus beginning the final phase

In Simple mode, the battle will end when Rossette groans in anger.

Phase 2:

“Ring around a rosie. A pocket full of posies. A tissue, a tissue. You cups go crack!” -Rossette Lavender Carnation

In this phase, the ground is untouchable due to Rossette’s thorny roots, forcing the players to use the upper platform.

Rossette can use these two attacks:

Overgrow: Randomly, Rossette can use her vines to hit the players from below. In Expert mode, she uses three of her vines.

Doll’s eye flowers: Rossette will summon two flowers shaped like eyes. They attack the players by throwing themselves at them.

Knockout!

Once the players pull enough damage, Rossette will be strangled and starts choking from her own vines.

Oh, man I just love how much detail I got to do for this one- I actually may have went overboard.I'm really going for that classic Snow Queen aesthetic and storyline for Crystalline here.

This is the role she'll take when I introduce her full story later. Here she is leading a little mug astray

es de de astitus agridulce , ama mucho los picnis (como a toda hormiga) aunque aveces no lo parece ella hace todo por su reino tiene tres etapas 1- ella a ataca desde su hormiguero donde lanza bombas en forma de frutillas,soldados hormigas, mariposas que lanzan misiles,larvas de hormigas y rayos que dispara de su setro 2- aprieta un boton y el hormiguero explota y ella sale de los restos con los ojos diferentes y cargada por un monton de hormigas y empieza a atacar con hormigas con flechas,otras hormigas,escupiendo tierra,hojas,ramas,gusanos que salen de la tierra y con mollin (su hija que es una larva de hormiga gigante) 3- ella silva muy fuerte y un oso hormiguero aparece  y se la come y empieza a atacar con su lengua,sus garras,escupiendo polillas que escupen astillas y sacando de su boca fantasmas de hormigas. She is bittersweet astitus, she loves picnics a lot (like any ant) although sometimes it does not seem like it she does everything for her kingdom has three stages 1- she attacks from her anthill where she throws bombs in the shape of strawberries, ant soldiers, butterflies that launch missiles, ant larvae and lightning bolts that she shoots from her setro 2- press a button and the anthill explodes and she comes out of the remains with different eyes and loaded by a lot of ants and begins to attack with ants with arrows, other ants, spitting earth, leaves, branches, worms that come out of the earth and with mollin (his daughter who is a giant ant larva) 3- she whistles very loudly and an anteater appears and eats her and begins to attack with its tongue, its claws, spitting moths that spit splinters and pulling out ghosts of ants from its mouth.

“Oliver Qvist in Erratic Entertainment”

I made a Cuphead fanboss, this is Oliver Qvist and his cat plush Snowball! Together they do street entertainment and ventriloquist acts on the streets of Inkwell Isle III, hoping to get some coin in the process. Oliver is a quite nervous person and has a bit of stage fright. He would never consider doing anything like this, but Snowball convinced him that it would make a bit of easy coin. Snowball can be a bit pushy and cocky but he does care about Oliver alot. But, they have a little secret, in reality they’re just a big scam. They’re actually speaking and joking to each other normally in their acts, whilst pretending that Snowball is a ventriloquist doll, making it seem that Oliver is capable of doing ventriloquism when he fact can’t.
